Built at Yale. Bound for Utah.
We're a small team building the Yale Exploration Rover: a rover that crosses a kilometre of desert on its own, works a robotic arm, and runs a life-detection experiment in the field. We'll take it to the University Rover Challenge 2027 at the Mars Desert Research Station in Hanksville, Utah.

What we're doing
Our rover is a multi-dimensional effort by a group of 20 Yale undergrads.
The rover
Drives itself to GNSS targets and visual markers, delivers tools across rough ground, services a lander's panel with a five-axis arm, and analyses soil for signs of life.
